Inn On Destin Harbor, Ascend Hotel Collection, Destin

I had a pretty nice stay overall at the Inn at Destin Harbor. The location is right on the harbor with stunning views, and we even spotted dolphins from our balcony! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating. However, there were some downsides like noise from the lobby during the mornings and a need for better soundproofing. Additionally, it's clear that the hotel is still undergoing renovations, so things aren't perfect yet.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the staff, especially Tony and Shanell, were incredibly helpful and considerate, going out of their way to assist me during my tiring journey. However, the cleanliness and overall state of the hotel left much to be desired. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, with visible dirt and discomforting odors. While the location was decent, I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on my overall experience.
